EMTAC

EMTAC stands for Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Thermal Assessments and Certifications. It was established to develop as a premier laboratory and certification body in the fields of physical security products, electrical, electronic and mechanical products. Originally established in 2015 as a specialized Physical Securities Products (PSP) test lab at Hyderabad, the lab later expanded into testing of Electrical and Electronics (E&E) products as well. The company later went on to add their own certification scheme to become an ISO 17065 accredited product certification body. Currently the laboratory is spread across more than 14,000 sq ft of space. In Mar 2020, EMTAC Laboratories was acquired by Vimta Labs Limited (www.vimta.com), to become a wholly owned subsidiary of Vimta Labs Limited.
